v1.5.3Improvement31 July 2026
Cookie controls, plus the guide and release notes are now public
- Cookie policy and consent controls. A new Cookie Policy page lists every cookie we set, what it does and how long it lasts. You can change your analytics choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. We still run no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies of any kind.
- More performance detail on the dashboard: expectancy per trade, maximum drawdown, payoff ratio, best and worst streaks, largest win and loss, and how your long and short trades compare.
- The User Guide and these release notes no longer require a login, so you can read or share them before signing up.
v1.5.2Bug fix31 July 2026
Corrected: profit factor and losing-streak figures
Two numbers were wrong, and both are now fixed. Your figures may look different — the new ones are correct.
- Profit factor was calculated as average win ÷ average loss. That is the payoff ratio, not the profit factor, and the two differ whenever your win and loss counts differ. Profit factor is now total gains ÷ total losses, and the payoff ratio is shown separately under Performance detail.
- Losing streaks counted individual trades. Because broker imports timestamp every trade on a day identically, there is no way to know what order they happened in — so that count was not measuring anything real. Streaks and maximum drawdown are now measured across trading days, which is both accurate and what you would recognise from your own records. This also corrected the streak figure quoted by AI Trade Insights.
v1.5.1New feature31 July 2026
AI Trade Insights rebuilt (Pro)
Your AI analysis is now organised into three sections — Patterns I see, What you are doing well, and Areas to improve — each with a concrete next step, followed by a plain-English summary.
Your edge, calculated rather than guessed. Below the analysis you will now see your strongest instrument, your best weekday and your stronger direction, worked out directly from your trades instead of being written by the AI. Each one carries a minimum trade threshold, so a single lucky day can no longer masquerade as an edge.
v1.5.0New feature31 July 2026
A new look, and a trading calendar that shows your whole month
The interface has been rebuilt around a warmer palette. Amber is now the TradeLog colour — used for buttons, links and highlights — which frees green and red to mean one thing only: money. If a number is green on your screen, it made you money. Nothing else.
New: full-month trading calendar. The dashboard calendar now opens on a full-width month view, with each day showing its net P&L, trade count and win rate at a glance. Hover any day for its average win, average loss and payoff ratio. Above the grid you get the month's P&L, win rate, W/L split, trade count and trading days.
The year-at-a-glance heatmap is still there — switch between Month and Year in the top right.
v1.4.4New feature19 May 2026
Performance breakdown by instrument type on the dashboard
The dashboard now includes a "Performance by instrument" card showing how each asset class is contributing to your overall P&L for the tax year. At a glance you can see net NZD profit or loss, win rate, trade count, and profit factor for Forex, Metals, Crypto, NZ Shares, and any other instrument types you trade. A proportional bar makes it easy to see which category is driving most of your results. Instruments subject to NZ Financial Arrangements rules (Forex and Metals) are flagged inline as a reminder of their cash-basis tax treatment. The breakdown automatically filters when you switch between accounts using the broker selector.
v1.4.3Improvement19 May 2026
Multi-account equity curve now aligns correctly on a shared time axis
When viewing the equity curve across all accounts, brokers with very different trading activity (for example, one account with 400 crypto trades and another with 10 forex trades) weren't aligning properly on a shared timeline. Each account's line now forward-fills to every date on the combined axis, so the curves compare correctly even when your accounts have uneven trade history.
v1.4.2Bug fix9 May 2026
Bug Fixes
- AI Insights: Fixed empty results — Column was causing the trade set to return empty, producing no insights even with sufficient history.
- AI Insights: Fixed query error — Removed reference to non-existent column that caused errors on first load.
- Accountant page: Fixed server error on load.
- Tax report share button — The share button on the tax report page now correctly generates and links to the accountant share token.
v1.4.1Improvement9 May 2026
Improvements
- Mobile-responsive layout — Dashboard, trades, expenses, tax report and settings pages are now fully responsive on all screen sizes.
- AI Insights card is collapsible — Click the header to collapse the card when you don't need it, keeping your dashboard tidy. A summary line (win rate, profit factor, trade count) stays visible when collapsed.
- AI Insights analyses full trade history — Previously limited to a 90-day window; now analyses all closed trades for more accurate long-term patterns.
v1.4New feature9 May 2026

- AI Trade Insights (Pro) — Claude-powered analysis of your full trade history. Surfaces 5 concrete insights with win rate, profit factor, best/worst instruments, day-of-week patterns, and actionable steps. Results are cached for 24 hours. Requires 10+ closed trades.

v1.3.0New feature8 May 2026
Smart CSV import — works with any broker
Importing trades from a broker we don't natively support? Now you can just upload your CSV and we'll figure it out.
When you upload a CSV from an unrecognised broker, our AI analyses the column headers and a few sample rows to automatically map them to the correct trade fields — close date, instrument, direction, prices, P&L, commission, and more. You get a full review screen to check (and adjust) every mapping before a single trade is imported.
If the AI can't confidently map your file, a manual column mapper lets you assign each field yourself via simple dropdowns. Either way, you're covered.
Once you confirm a mapping, it's saved to our shared format library. The next user importing from the same broker gets instant auto-detection — no AI call, no manual setup needed. Every import makes the system smarter for everyone.
Supported import flows:
• Known brokers (MT4, MT5, cTrader, OANDA, CMC, IG, IBKR, Forex.com) — auto-detected as before
• Unknown broker CSV — AI column mapping with review step
• AI can't map — manual column mapper with sample value preview
